MSU Engineering Expo

There were five members that attended the expo. We all carpooled on Thursday. It was a very good experience and gave us some insight on areas where we need to improve our resumes. Luckily, we have the opportunity in IEEE to work on projects that improve our knowledge of engineering as well as our hands-on experience with components and design work.

Gentex Tour

The Gentex Tour was a great success. We thank Eric Woodward from Microelectronics Assembly for a very informative and enjoyable tour. We look forward to visiting again in the future.

Wednesday, February 5, 2014 we will be providing a free resume workshop for anyone interested. Whether you need to update your resume or start fresh, we will help you develop it to a finished product. We will be meeting in ET 224 at 6p.m.

Gentex Tour

Friday February 7, 2014 we will be driving to Zeeland, Mi to tour Gentex. It is an exciting opportunity to see what engineeers do in the field. If you would like to join us please email Jeff our president to let him know. In the subject line put "Gentex Tour". Then just let him know that you are interested. Please be sure to inform him three days or more in advance.

Our meetings this semester will be every Wednesday at 6p.m. in ET 224. Sometimes we will meet on Fridays if we deem it neccesary. Welcome to yet another semester at CMU. We are looking forward to seeing eveyone this semester. Our first meeting is January 18, 2012 at 6:30 in room ET224. Hope to see everyone there. It shall be fun.

We will discuss SPAC conference dates and topics, the first group projects (prizes will be given out to the best program for the boe-bots)
